Linfield player diagnosed with coronavirus

A player for Belfast football club Linfield has been diagnosed with coronavirus and in self-isolation.

The club confirmed the diagnosis in a statement on their website this evening, saying:

"Linfield FC can confirm that one of our players has tested positive for coronavirus.

"This club is taking advice from the relevant authorities and will provide an update when we have further details."
