Celtic boss Neil Lennon says there have been no further bids for defender Kieran Tierney who has been targeted by Arsenal.
There had been reports that the Premier League club made a second bid of £18 million for the left-back, who has also been linked with Napoli, after an initial offer of £15 million was turned down.
"No," Lennon replied when asked on Friday whether there was any fresh bids had been tabled.
"He's still injured and he's rehabbing. He had the double hernia and he still has the Osteitis pubis problem, so again it's a slow burner that one."
The latter injury problem being an inflammation of the pubis symphysis joint that causes lower abdominal and pelvic pain.
Lennon was full of praise for new signing Luca Connell who revealed this afternoon that he had turned down interest from English clubs for the chance to play with the Scottish champions.
The manager feels that the teenager has already settled in well.
"He's been great," Lennon said. "What you see is what you get with Luca, he's bubbly, he's [got] an infectious personality and he's a good player we think, talented."
"It doesn't seem to have phased him so far. He will feature tomorrow [in a home friendly vs Rennes] as well so it'll be good to see the Celtic public get a view of him and obviously him to get a feel for playing at home in Celtic Park."
Lennon stopped short of promising Connell a regular first team place but he revealed that Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy is also a fan after giving the midfielder his first senior call-up in May.
"We think he's a talented player," added Lennon.
"He did some good things at 17 in the first team in the Championship at Bolton. He's been away with the Irish team in terms of gaining experience with the international team under Mick, all the reports back from their camp was very positive about him.
"We were delighted to get the deal over the line and he's a player who's in the embryonic [stages] of his career and hopefully in the next three or four years, we'll see him develop and flourish."
