Leicester City missed the chance to seal the Premier League title today but their 1-1 draw at Old Trafford edges them closer to doing just that.
The result means the Foxes now go eight points clear of Tottenham at the top of the table with two games to go, although Spurs have a game in hand tomorrow against Chelsea.
A win today would have given Leicester their first ever league title but they did come away from Old Trafford with a crucial point which means that if Tottenham don't win at Stamford Bridge tomorrow, Claudio Ranieri's side will win the league.
Anthony Martial went against the fairytale script as he put United in front just eight minutes in when a cross from the right flank arrived at the far post for the forward to sweep in past Kasper Schmeichel.
But Leicester weren't behind for long as captain Wes Morgan headed in an equaliser from an in-swinging free-kick.
Both sides came close as the match wore on, with a Chris Smalling header for United hitting the outside of the post.
However, Leicester suffered a blow with five minutes to go as Drinkwater was shown a second yellow card for pulling back substitute Memphis Depay at the edge of the box.
But the league leaders hung on to the point which edges them ever closer to the promised land.
