Kyle Lafferty has been charged by The FA for alleged misconduct in relation to betting.
The Norwich City striker has been charged with breaking Rule E8, which prevents professional players from betting on football-related matters including any other football-related matter anywhere in the world. This includes matches, player transfers, managerial hirings and firings and team selection and disciplinary matters.
In a statement released by the FA, they say:
"It is alleged that on 20 February 2016, the Norwich City forward placed a bet on the result, progress, conduct or any other aspect of, or occurrence in, a football match or competition in breach of FA Rule E8"
The Northern Irish striker appeared in three games for his country at Euro 2016 as they reached the last 16 and has until August 5th to respond to the charge.
