It's not everyday that Liverpool come calling for your signature and most players would be forgiven for thinking that they are being pranked.
That was the case with Ragnar Klavan, the centre-back who has featured at the start of the season.
The Estonian was signed from Germany's FC Augsburg earlier this summer.
When Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp got in touch, Klavan needed some evidence that it was in fact the German and not team-mates trying to play a prank on him.
"Jurgen sent me a selfie to prove it was him. I’d received the messages so I wrote back 'I don’t believe you. I need proof'. He sent me the picture smiling," Klavan told The Telegraph.
"At first I couldn’t believe it. It was my dream to play in the Premier League for 22 years. Then you are told you not only have a chance to do it, but it is Liverpool. I was like ‘are you serious? This is really happening?'
"I didn’t need convincing. I told the manager straight away if there is a chance to come, no other club interests me."
