Kiev's Olympic Stadium is to host the 2018 Champions League final.
The news was broken by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko on Thursday morning. It will be the first time the city has hosted a major European club final.

The NSC Olimpiyskiy hosted five games at Euro 2016 including the Final. Spain defeated Italy 4-0 in what remains the biggest winning margain in the history of a European Championship Final.
Dynamo Kyiv are the only Ukrainian side in the competition. Sergey Rebrov's side lost 2-1 at home to Napoli on Tuesday night in Group B. They play their home games in the Olympic Stadium.
Kiev will replace Cardiff as the hosts. This season's Champions League Final will take place in the Millenium Stadium on June 3rd. Like Kiev, it will be the first time Cardiff has hosted the game.
