Kenny Cunningham joined Off The Ball on Tuesday evening to chat about the Premier League and Spurs recent travails.
Tottenham players Hugo Lloris and Heung-Min Son had a disagreement on the pitch that amounted to little more than handbags, but that incident wasn't the main concern for Cunningham when analysing Jose Mourinho's side.

"It's no big deal to me," said the former Ireland skipper, "I'd rather see it done in the dressing room behind closed doors rather than on the pitch, but it didn't really raise an eyebrow with me.
"I could understand Mourinho's spin at the end of the game, trying to turn it into a bit of a positive. He was almost tapping himself on the back, in that his words have eventually gotten through to his players, that stronger mentality, demanding more of each other.
"I can understand it, but I wouldn't read too much into it."
Same Spurs Problems
Overall, the problems for Spurs are the same now as they were before the Portuguese boss arrived, in the eyes of Kenny Cunningham.
"I didn't see anything that I haven't seen already in terms of strengths and weaknesses," says Cunningham. "They have some decent options further up the pitch. Bergwijn even though he wasn't playing last night [against Everton] a very talented player. They've got some good options in Son and Moura on the flanks.
"Harry Kane, we know he's a goalscorer, although at times he can be a passenger in terms in terms of his overall contribution to the team.
"The problem fundamentally for Spurs is the same as it was six months ago, central midfield. They've got nobody who can defend. They have not got a central midfielder who can hold the centre of the pitch, sense danger and deal with it.
"Until they rectify that, they are going to have problems in that area of the field. They have a lot of attack-minded players, Lo Celso, Sissoko, Wicks is a very good technical player, good ballplayer, but not a good defender.
"That's the problem for me with Spurs, that central midfield area. Centre-half too, you could talk about whether they need a centre-half and maybe one or two full-backs as well.
"There's a lot of work to be done from a Spurs perspective, they are some distance behind a number of teams ahead fo them in the league."
