On the subject of Shay Given, Keith said "even if Shay doesn't start, having him around the squad, the experience that he has... he's an enthusiastic character, the way he trains and is around the hotel. It can be nothing but good for the squad".
Keith also discussed the news that West Ham's Mark Noble could be about to make himself available for the Irish international team. Keith says he's torn on the issue, and says it all depends on the reasons Noble has decided to join the team:
