Jose Mourinho "can almost guarantee" we will see him in the dugout next season and says he has "good offers on the table."
Mourinho, who has been linked heavily with the Manchester United job, was speaking at a sponsorship event in Lisbon on Friday when he said,
"It's a matter of thinking, to come to a good decision and finalising it. In the summer everyone will know what my next club will be.
"I'll take my ideas to where they are wanted. I want to be at a place where I'm wanted. I want to work at a club with responsibility, in a hard league and where there are no easy objectives. That doesn't leave many options."
Louis van Gaal has flirted perilously close to disaster all year without his Manchester United squad ever entirely capitulating but there is a strong sense that Van Gaal will be replaced in the summer with Mourinho expected to become the next manager at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, Zinedine Zidane's tenure at the Santiago Bernabeu has not ignited as fans and officials at the club might have liked and there might be a place for Mourinho in Madrid should the former French international step away from his role as the manager of Real Madrid.
Laurent Blanc could also be ready for a new challenge having spent the last three years managing Paris Saint-Germain and given his short stint at Manchester United as a player, he could be considered as an alternative to either Mourinho or Van Gaal.
Chances are we will see a game of musical chairs this summer within the upper echelons of management and Jose Mourinho will be central to how things work themselves out.
