Former Newcastle player Jonas Gutierrez has won a claim against the team that he suffered discrimination on the grounds of disability.
He alleged he was left out of the side after he had beaten testicular cancer so that the club wouldn't have to give him a new contract.
A new one-year deal would have been triggered had he made a certain number of appearances.
The Argentine has tweeted that he's "a Geordie", and hopes the club avoid Premier League relegation.
I am a geordie thanks newcastle fans for your support. I love The city. I hope WE stay up. Come on The toon. Once a geordie always a geordie
