So far on our Team 33 My Club series, we have heard from the Man vs Food guy on his Tottenham love-in and Aston Villa legend and fan Ian Taylor on why he didn't end up supporting city rivals Birmingham City instead.
Those two have told us what a joy it has been following their respective clubs.
But for Irish comedian Jarlath Regan, supporting Liverpool has not been joy filled over the last quarter of a century.
Even Istanbul 2005 failed to get him jumping out of his seat, while he Graeme Souness' time in charge and penchant for selling the Irish contingent appears to be Year Zero for him.
The host of the excellent An Irishman Abroad podcast (I highly recommend it) opened up in gory detail about the "misery" of supporting Liverpool, how he felt when Steven Gerrard slipped and the fate that awaits current manager Brendan Rodgers.
