After the sale of Shane Long to Southampton last week, Hull City look to be patching up their attack as a bid has been made for Blackburn Rovers' striker Jordan Rhodes today.
The 24 year-old Scot has been in lethal form in recent seasons, scoring 87 goals in 129 matches for Huddersfield before moving to the Ewood Park outfit for whom he has scored 53 goals in 99 games.
"There has been an enquiry which has been taken to the board and the owners. That's as much as I know," said Blackburn boss Gary Bowyer of Rhodes in today's press conference.
The Blackburn striker only last month signed a new deal to stay at the club until 2019 but Steve Bruce will be desperate to add to his attacking options after, not only the sale of Long, but also the long-term injury that new signing Robert Snodgrass has suffered in the past few days.
