Jonathan Afolabi is the latest Republic of Ireland underage international to make a move this month.
The striker has left Celtic for Scottish Championship side Dunfermline Athletic until the end of the season.
Afolabi left Southampton for the Parkhead club in August, signing a 3-year deal at the time.
Dunfermline currently sit 5th in the Championship table, and just a point outside the playoff places following Friday's 2-1 win at home to promotion rivals Dundee.
Afolabi is said to have already made quite an impression on the coaches at East End Park.
The 20-year old forward is just the latest in a string of Stephen Kenny's U21 squad to seek new pastures - temporary or otherwise - in search of regular game time.
Striker Aaron Drinan joins Afolabi in the Scottish Championship having joined Ayr United from Ipswich Town. Drinan played the full 90-minutes of Ayr's 1-0 win over Inverness at the weekend.
Lee O'Connor is another to opt for Scottish second-tier football having also left Celtic - the full-back joined Partick Thistle this month.
Connor Ronan swapped Wolves for Blackpool, but was not involved in the Tangerines' 1-0 loss to Lincoln City in League One.
