As our Monday night European football contributor Ben Lyttleton told us on Off The Ball last night, PSG manager Laurent Blanc's time with the Parisians seems to be hanging by a thread.
The nadir appears to be the 4-2 defeat at lowly Bastia from a point where the reigning champions were leading 2-0.
Tonight, we looked at the situation in depth with French football writer Philippe Auclair who does not hold much hope for Blanc.
"I must say, I find it difficult to believe that Blanc will survive this season, unless something extraordinary happens, because he's had numerous occasions to steer the ship back in right direction and it's not happened," said Auclair, who said that the splits in the camp have got more "severe" with key players under-performing.
Auclair suggested that some of the players perform in a "arrogant" manner which suggests that they think Ligue 1 action is beneath them.
He also questioned Blanc's ability as a manager.
"I think his limits have been exposed at PSG. He's not somebody who is a good coach - in terms of real-time game-management. He seems to be a bit lost when things go wrong and they do go wrong an awful lot of the time."
