Scoring has a been a problem for Liverpool so far this season but they’ve struggled defensibly to keeping just two clean sheets in their last 16 league games. Ahead of this match Brendan Rodgers spoke to the gathered press about losing in Madrid, resting players and the threat of Chelsea who have lost just one of their last six against the Merseysiders.
