Ireland striker Noel Hunt has returned to Ipswich Town.
The 32-year-old has agreed a deal which will keep him at Portman Road until the end of June.
Hunt cancelled his contract with Leeds United by mutual consent yesterday, but insists he feels no animosity towards the club.
“I feel no bitterness in anyway towards anyone associated at the club,” the Waterford native told United’s website.
“All the way from the president, to all the coaching and general staff at Thorp Arch and at Elland Road, I’d like to say thank you.”
Leeds manager Neil Redfearn also thanked Hunt for his time at the club, for whom he made 22 appearances.
Redfearn says Noel Hunt leaves with everyone's best wishes: "He's a good lad, it hasn't worked out but not for a lack of trying." #lufc
