With the Manchester derby looming after this international break, the City striker decided to move his elbow in the direction of the neck of West Ham defender Winston Reid and now faces a potential three week ban from the FA.
That of course is a blow for Pep Guardiola but also for Fantasy Premier League players, most of whom would have the Argentine in their squads.
But as Eoin Sheahan said on this week's Team 33 Fantasy segment, "Getting rid of Aguero is not the hard part. You need to plan to get him back in your team and that needs to be done now."
And that involves some mental athletics to make required changes to your squad that would allow you to bring him back in for Gameweek 7 when he should be back if a ban is confirmed.
"If you're getting him in for a striker that's £2 million cheaper, don't just leave £2 million in the bank. You're probably going to need another 0.5 in the bank just in case," adds Eoin.
