The results of the Hillsborough Inquests have shown that 96 Liverpool fans were unlawfully killed as a result of negligence at the FA Cup semi-final against Nottingham Forest in 1989.
Over 27 years after the tragedy happened, and over two years after the inquest began, seven of the nine jury members decided that the fans were unlawfully killed. The decision of the jury will give the families of the victims some closure to what happened in April 1989.
Among the results of the inquest, it was also decided that fans were at no fault for what happened in the Leppings Lane end.
Outside the courtroom, the families joined as one to sing the Liverpool anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone". It's very difficult to imagine a more emotional version of the song ever being sang again.
