Tottenham's Harry Kane has refused to commit his long-term future to the club - and says he is fully focused on the short-term.
The striker has repeatedly been linked with a move away from the London club, and their recent poor form has only added to the speculation.
Clubs in England - such as Manchester United and Manchester City - are reportedly interested in the 27-year-old, while Real Madrid has also been mooted as one of the overseas options.
With England in World Cup qualifying action later today against Albania (5pm kick-off), Kane said in advance of the game that his future is a 'hard question to answer right now'.
"It's important that all my focus is on the two England games coming up and the rest of the season with Spurs, and then the Euros," he told The Telegraph
“To be thinking about speculation or rumours would be damaging in terms of my own performance.
"I always like to be focused on one goal and one job and that’s to finish strong with Spurs, win these qualifiers with England and hopefully go on to have a great Euros.
“I’m fully focused on doing the job on the pitch from now until the end of the summer. And then we’ll see where we go from there.”
Having scored 160 goals for Spurs so far, Kane and his club colleagues have endured a poor run of form.
Inconsistent league displays have threatened to derail their Champions League ambitions, while they slumped to a meek Europa League exit when coughing up a 2-0 first leg lead to lose to 3-0 to Dinamo Zagreb in their second encounter.
Kane, however, says they can still turn the season into a positive one.
"I think it’s been a difficult spell at Spurs but, look, we went into the Arsenal game winning five games in a row,” he said.
“Obviously the Arsenal game [a 2-1 defeat] was a difficult one to take and then, of course, the Europa League where we went out was a big disappointment.
“But we bounced back last Sunday [against Aston Villa] with a win and I think, when you look at the bigger picture, we’re a couple of points off the top-four places and we’ve got a cup final to play so if we’re looking at it in the end of May and we’ve finished in the top four and won the Carabao Cup I think everyone will say it’s been a pretty good season."
