The 2014/15 Champions League group stage draw was made earlier today and it threw up some fascinating match ups.
Tonight, we were joined by our European football correspondent Graham Hunter who cast his eye over the resulting groups.
Liverpool take on holders Real Madrid, five years on from when the Reds thrashed the Spanish giants 4 - 0 at Anfield.
"We must accept that even though there looks like a disparity in quality between a restructuring Liverpool side, now Suarez has left, and Real Madrid, they've only ever played three times competitively and Liverpool have won every time," said Graham.
"Given the record between these two clubs and what Anfield can be like, I think Real Madrid will go into it not particularly looking forward to those first 90 minutes."
Graham also spoke about the merits of Xabi Alonso's likely transfer from Real Madrid to Bayern Munich and how the ex-Spain international's relationship may develop with Pep Guardiola after their prominent roles in recent El Clasico wars.
He also contrasted Arsenal's decision not to go after a player like Alonso to plug a gap unlike Bayern who acted decisively.
Graham was also critical of Real Madrid's re-introduction of the Galactico transfer policy and their shedding of the likes of Angel Di Maria and Alonso.
