David Villa, Samuel Eto'o, Zlatan Ibrahimovic are just a small selection of the world class forwards who have played second fiddle to Lionel Messi at Barcelona.
In those years, some of have claimed that Messi's presence hampers those around him from shining.
However, Graham Hunter rejects any insinuations that selfishness is the issue when he spoke to Off The Ball tonight.
He feels that the way in which Messi allowed new team-mate Luis Suarez to tap in the third goal against PSG instead of taking a shot himself last night in the Champions League proves that talk of the Argentine being a primadonna vis a vis strike partners is false.
"Messi was intent on making sure that he didn't get in the way. He was intent on there being no flag and intent on Suarez getting this monkey off his back because [lack of goals] has been driving [Suarez] crazy," said Graham.
He also talked about Real Madrid's record winning run at home and in Europe, highlighting how manager Carlo Ancelotti "inspires" the star-studded team, before picking his three favourites for the Champions League.
