Jose Mourinho was treated to victory during his first game in charge of Manchester United this afternoon as they beat Wigan 2-0 at the DW Stadium.
Will Keane and Andreas Pereira were both on target for the visitors and Mourinho fielded two of his new signings, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Eric Bailly.

"The result obviously is not the most important thing, but I'm happy with things that we tried in training and some principles and our play defensively, offensively and I could see them there," he told MUTV after the game.
"Obviously, not in a perfect way [...] but they started thinking football the way I think [about it]."
"I've never seen anything like this, so many supporters, the permanent support to the team, the display of happiness with a few things that they could see in the team, so this is absolutely fantastic."
