During the battle to stamp out doping in cycling, leading sportswear firm SKINS was very vocal in terms of trying to bring about reform within the Union Cycliste Internationale.
Now the company and its CEO Jamie Fuller has turned its focus towards world football's governing body FIFA which is perenially mired in controversy.
It comes at a slightly delicate time for FIFA, with long time President Sepp Blatter up against a list of candidates in leadership elections set for May - although David Ginola has since dropped out of the race.
In a new campaign called New FIFA Now, Fuller is trying to get FIFA's sponsors to spur calls for reform of the embattled organisation as he told Off The Ball tonight.
"It's a little bit frustrating, frankly, that we have to do this because I'd much prefer it if we heard from the FIFA sponsors themselves, doing everything that could be done to make Blatter and FIFA accountable for what they do and try to get them to reflect a well-run organisation that has the very basic forms of governance," said Fuller, who said that companies are "not engaging at all" with some fearing legal action and playing it safe.
Fuller says New FIFA Now is not endorsing any of the candidates, but does not think that Blatter staying in power is a foregone conclusion.
"There's four months to go and a lot of stuff can happen, not excluding either an FBI investigation that's been underway for some time and who knows what the implications of that could be. I'd keep a fairly open mind but as far as we're concerned we want to hear from potential candidates who are going to run on a reform agenda," he said, adding that the likes of Luis Figo and Jerome Champagne seem to be making the "right noises" at the moment.
Fuller also gave his take on the current speed of reform in cycling under the presidency of Brian Cookson.
