Former Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner has been fined by current club Wolfsburg after turning up late for training on Monday.
"I just slept in and didn't hear my alarm," the 28-year-old told Germany's Bild newspaper. "It's my mistake."
The club decided to fine him €50 for every minute he was late for training and the resulting fee was €2,250 after being late for 45 minutes.
It is not the first time the Danish international has been in trouble with the club; last month he was pictured with a Mercedes car, when Wolfsburg's policy only allows employees to turn up to training in a Volkswagen.
The striker, who spent nine years in North London, was also once fined £80,000 and banned for a game by Uefa for revealing sponsored underwear after scoring against Portugal in Euro 2012.
