Former Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro will be backed by the head of FIFA's medical committee, Michel D'Hooghe, in her legal case against the club.
She is suing for constructive dismissal, while manager Jose Mourinho is also the subject of individual legal action.
"Of course I support Eva Carneiro. She did her job, she did her duty - when somebody is medically in trouble she has to intervene," he said.
"Of course she has my support and the whole medical committee's. I have had email contact with her and she is very happy with the global support of the medical world in football."
Carneiro was dropped from her match-day duties after she was criticised by Mourinho for rushing on to the pitch to treat a player.
