Ipswich 0-1 Southampton
A goal from Ireland striker Shane Long was enough to send Southampton through to the fourth round of the FA Cup as they beat Mick McCarthy's Ipswich 1-0 at Portman Road.
Ipswich and ex-Ireland winger Stephen Hunt had an early goal ruled out for offside, before Long scored on 19 minutes to ultimately give Saints the win.
Southampton face Crystal Palace in the next round.
Tottenham 4-2 Burnley
Tottenham bounced back from conceding twice inside the opening eight minutes to beat Premier League rivals Burnley 4-2.
Marvin Sordell and Ross Wallace gave the Clarets a strong lead within 10 minutes.
But goals from Paulinho, Etienne Capoue, Vlad Chiriches and Danny Rose helped Spurs to turn the game around.
They advance to a fourth round tie against Leicester City.
Meanwhile, Bradford City cruised to a comfortable 4-0 win over Millwall at Valley Parade after the visitors were reduced to ten men after six minutes.
