West Bromwich Albion have led the tributes to former Ireland centre-forward Dave Walsh who has passed away at the age of 92.
The Waterford native scored 100 goals in 174 matches for the Baggies after joining them as a 23-year-old in 1946.
Walsh, who was also part of the Ireland team that famously beat England in 1949, also played for Linfield and Aston Villa during his club career.
"Albion are saddened to announce the passing of club legend Dave Walsh," said a West Brom spokesperson.
