Evening top 5: The DUP and Sinn Féin remain dominant up north, Simon Harris wants hospital dispute resolved and Andrea Bocelli brings the house down

Newly elected Minister for Health Simon Harris, is calling on those involved in the relocation dispute of the National Maternity Hospital, to 'put their egos to one side.'

Speaking on the local radio station East Coast FM, Harris said:

"My message very clearly to anyone involved in this row that I am reading about in the papers, put your egos to one side, get in a room and sort this out. This cannot be tied up in bureaucracy."

"What I will not do is allow the possibility of delivering a new maternity hospital to be jeopardised by rows over governance and fiefdom."

Management at St Vincent's Hospital and the National Maternity Hospital at Holles Street are embroiled in a dispute over the governance of the new facility.

Iconic tenor Andrea Bocelli joined in with the Leicester City celebrations at the King Power Stadium before their game with Everton this evening.

Walking out arm in arm with Claudio Ranieri, Bocelli sang a rousing rendition of Nessun Dorma prior to kick-off as the Foxes celebrated becoming Premier League champions for the first time.

Safe to say that things got somewhat emotional, inside and outside the stadium.

The DUP and Sinn Féin will remain the biggest parties in the North's power sharing administration as a result of the Northern Ireland Assembly Election.

Counting has concluded, two days after the vote took place on Thursday.

DUP leader Arlene Foster will return as First Minister, as her party claimed 38 seats, while Sinn Féin finished with 28. This number falls just shy of the 29 they won in the election five years ago.

Meanwhile, Martin McGuinness has also been elected and will retain the second position.

Counting finished just before 5pm on Saturday. The final result was announced in Upper Bann, where Sinn Féin education minister John O’Dowd resisted the efforts of former SDLP deputy leader Dolores Kelly for the sixth seat.
