Most worrying for Mick McCarthy's side will be Christian Eriksen's apparent return to form with the playmaker scoring two goals late in the game.

Elsewhere in Group D, Switzerland all but assured their automatic qualification with a 1-0 win at home to Georgia. Switzerland now travel to Gibraltar on Monday with a win guaranteeing their place in next summer's competition.
