Belgium manager Roberto Martinez believes Eden Hazard's move from Chelsea to Real Madrid is one of the "special signings" of the summer.
The Belgian captain was signed by the La Liga giants for a reported fee of €100 million and will officially be unveiled as a Real player on Thursday.
Martinez thinks Hazard will be a "perfect fit" in Madrid and is impressed with how the transfer was handled.
"[He's] a real example for everyone in Belgium. A player that has been through clubs and he can always come back and be greeted as a hero.
"And now we all look forward to see how the new chapter at Real Madrid will start."
Roberto Martinez believes Eden Hazard will lift the dressing room
Martinez also believes that the winger will bring a positive energy to the Spanish club's dressing room as they attempt to start competing again with Barcelona in the domestic championship.
"The most surprising thing about Eden is his degree of influence in each game, as he is a very consistent person who doesn't depend on ups and downs and he isn't emotional.
"He has so much influence in the group and he lives by and for football, as he was born in a football family where his father and mother were players, and the three brothers enjoy the sport.
"Unfortunately, the modern player has other influences, another way of understanding football.
"I think the beauty of Eden is to see an old-fashioned player with such a modern talent."
Before that Hazard will be hoping to lead his national team to victory in the Euro 2020 qualifiers as they welcome Scotland to the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils lead Group I with three wins from three games - that's three points ahead of third-placed Scotland.
