The FAI have confirmed that the postponed Premier Division game between Dundalk and Cork City will take place on Tuesday, October 11th at 7.05pm.
Originally scheduled to take place on September 2nd, the game was postponed after an appeal by Cork City. Sean Maguire and Kevin O'Connor were called into the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad ahead of their game with Serbia.
The postponement put even more pressure on the FAI, with both team's successful runs in Europe leading to a heavy fixtures backlog.

The teams lie in first and second in the table, with Dundalk leading by five points having played a game more. Both sides have played less than games than third-placed Derry City, as the title race looks set to be a two-horse race.
October's clash between the sides will be the third league game between the two this year. Cork have won the previous two games 1-0.
The Oriel Park clash is scheduled to be one the teams' final League games and may prove to be a potential title-decider.
