Last night Dundalk knew they were through to the Champions League playoff round by beating BATE Borisov and also guaranteed a place in the Europa League group stages as a potential fall-back option.
But they didn't know which side they could face in the playoff round as the remainder of the third round of qualifying was only completed tonight.
After tonight's round of fixtures, which also included Celtic's narrow defeat of Astana, it means that Dundalk now know the five potential teams they could be drawn against for a place in the Champions League group stages.
As an unseeded side in the Champions Route side of the draw, the Irish champions can only face a seeded side and it will be one of the following five teams:
Celtic
Viktoria Plzen
Legia Warsaw
APOEL
Red Bull Salzburg
The four other sides that will be in the draw as unseeded teams are Dinamo Zagreb, Ludogorets Razgrad, FC Copenhagen and Hapoel Be'er Sheva.
The draw for the play-off round will take place on Friday, August 5th.
