A jittery goalkeeper is always a disadvantage for a team, none more so when the defence is also struggling.
That is the case at Liverpool where Simon Mignolet has been responsible for numerous errors and one would guess that the current Reds No 1's position is under increasing pressure.
Indeed, football writer Miguel Delaney thinks time is running out as he told Off The Ball.
"I wouldn't be surprised if Rodgers is already looking around for other keepers in January. He was shocking again today and it's almost every aspect of his goalkeeping, bar the odd shot-stop," he said.
Miguel also touched on other areas of Liverpool's play such as Raheem Sterling being on a superior wavelength to his team-mates and reserving judgement on the currently injured Mario Balotelli until he can strike up a partnership with the less static Daniel Sturridge.
