Derry City have offered their full support to one of their players who lost five members of his family in last night's tragedy in Buncrana.
Joshua Daniels' mother, sister, nephews and brother-in-law lost their lives when their vehicle went off the pier on the Inishowen Peninsula.
Daniels' club have rallied around him and released a statement pledging their full support to him in the wake of the tragedy.
Club Chairman Philip O'Doherty said that all the staff and players wanted to express their "shock and sadness" at the tragedy, and that they will all stand by him in the coming days and weeks to offer the support he needs.
