Dan Casey has returned to Bohemians after a season away from the Dalymount Park club.
The former Sunderland underage defender left Bohs for Cork City in January, and played 29-times in an underwhelming season for the Leesiders.
Casey was a popular figure in his first season at Bohs, helped in no small part by a goalscoring brace in a 3-1 win over Shamrock Rovers at Dalymount on the opening day of the 2018 season.
Bohs manager Keith Long is delighted by Casey's return, which comes in the same week the club lost Republic of Ireland U21 defender Darragh Leahy to Dundalk.
Long told the club's website, "At 22, he is still very young but has gained good experience over the last 2½ years.
"I believe the best is yet to come from Dan and I hope he can continue to improve at our club."
Casey's signing brings to 22 the number of players signed up at Bohs for the 2020 season.
He joins new signings like Anto Breslin, JJ Lunney, Kris Twardek, fellow prodigal son JJ Lunney and former Liverpool forward Glen McAuley.
