The constant comparisons made between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo get a bit tiresome after a while - including for both players who are constantly asked about the other.
Both are undoubtedly great players with numerous achievements to their names.
Indeed, every Ballon D'Or - football's most prestigious individual prize - has gone to either the Real Madrid man or Barcelona forward since 2009.
Messi has five (one being the pre-FIFA version of the Ballon D'Or) while Ronaldo has three plus another pre-FIFA award.
Messi's ex-Barcelona team-mate Xavi recently praised Ronaldo as "extraordinary" but feels he cannot be compared to Messi.
"Messi will be number one until he wants [to stop]," Xavi told Cadena SER.
Of course, that didn't go down well with Portugal captain Ronaldo.
"I'm the most searched player on the internet. Anyone who wants free publicity or media attention talks about me," he said to Marca, although he was magnanimous when he mentioned Messi's name.
"I couldn't care less about what Xavi says about me, he plays in Qatar or I don't even know where. He's won every collective trophy, including a World Cup and the European Championship, but he's never won a Ballon D'Or. It's a privilege for me to have won the Ballon d'Or three times with Messi contending for the award."
