Claudio Ranieri lauds a "more solid" Leicester after another league win

Leicester City could end Sunday with a ten-point advantage at the top of the Premier League.

Claudio Ranieri's side scored two second-half goals, both from Jamie Vardy to record their 21st league win of the year. The Italian manager told Off the Ball's Dave McIntyre that the team have evolved throughout the year.

"They are more confident of course, but now we are more solid. They understood what I wanted on the pitch. Of course, sometime we make mistakes but that's normal."

Despite the win, Ranieri is not getting carried away with himself, despite the team moving one match closer to a potentially historic title.

"I told them, 'Well done. Three points. Very important.' Now, we need to focus on the next match. We have two matches at home. Very difficult matches."

Three of Leicester's next four matches are at home, but the Italian is only looking as far as the game against the next opponents West Ham.

"We have to think about match-by-match. Now were are focused on West Ham. They are a very good team, who play good football."

Leicester's fans are beginning to grow in confidence about a title win. Ranieri hopes to see the fans hopes come true in the coming weeks.

"There is something special. Our fans are dreaming. We must work hard to think and to do. They can continue to dream".

The Foxes are back in action next Sunday at home to West Ham at 1.30pm. You will be able to hear the match live and exclusively on Off the Ball.
