The legendary Frank Kelly who brilliantly played the role of Fr Jack Hackett on Fr Ted, has passed away.
Kelly revealed last year that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease but had vowed to continue living without limits despite the condition.
And athletes from around the country have posted tributes to the iconic actor who entertained them so effortlessly for so many years.
Very sad to hear of Frank Kelly's passing.. Fr Ted is still the best comedy out there and way ahead of its time. RIP #frjack
