While the celebrations continue in Dundalk after their 19-year wait for a league title came to an end on Friday night, thoughts will turn to next season.
Can the Lilywhites build on their success and make a leap in Europe and join Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers to become the only clubs in the last 10 years to retain the league trophy.
But can they do it?
Roddy Collins and Stuart Byrne joined us in studio to review the title showdown against Cork City and also to identify the reasons why Dundalk won the title.
"Domestically, I don't see any reason why they can't," said Roddy. "But it's a different ball game, a different animal. But I don't see any reason [why they can't]. Financially, they are secure."
Thoughts also turned to Cork City who pushed Dundalk all the way.
"There will be big pressure on them next year from the get go and it will be interesting to see how the players cope with that. You've got to give them a lot of credit, they did cope with an awful lot of it this year. But it's a different animal," said Stuey of the expectations runners up Cork City will now face after their title challenge.
Roddy also said he would be interested in the vacant Bohemians job but that there has been "no contact" as of yet.
