Bohemians agree deal with FAI as schoolboy and academy teams make move to Phoenix Park

Bohemians FC have confirmed that their underage sides will be making a return to the site of the club's first permanent ground at Phoenix Park.

The Dublin club are currently based at Dalymount Park but will now see their schoolboy and Academy sections avail of the Fifteen Acres facility at Phoenix Park after a deal was agreed with the FAI.

The Association have taken over the lease.

"We needed to have a permanent base from which, we can grow our football club from. To have this on our door-step, it's a god-send for the club," said Bohemians president Matt Devaney.

"We meet the FAI quite regularly and I happened to mention to Richard Fahey (FAI Director of Club Licensing and Facility Development) that we're struggling for pitches as we've doubled the amount of teams we operate over the last few years."

The Fifteen Acres facility includes 12 pitches which will now be of use to the club.
