Sam Allardyce has decided to make three changes to the England side that suffered an embarrassing defeat to Iceland at Euro 2016.
Their opening 2018 World Cup qualifier against Slovakia is the former Bolton and Sunderland manager's first international match in charge since replacing Roy Hodgson in July.
And it is also England's first since that Iceland match in France back in June.
The captain on that night Wayne Rooney will become England's most capped outfield player.
John Stones, Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana replace Chris Smalling, Dele Alli and Daniel Sturridge from the side that lost 2-1 to Iceland as Allardyce made the relatively unusual step of naming his starting XI two days early.
