Former Everton manager Roberto Martinez has made a swift return to football as the new manager of Belgium.
The Spaniard is the surprise choice to succeed Marc Wilmots, who was dismissed after their Euro 2016 defeat by Wales.

The ex-Wigan and Swansea boss was sacked by Everton at the end of last season, after an indifferent campaign and replaces Wilmots who could only take a team packed with individual talent as far as Euro 2016's quarter-finals where they were knocked out in a 3-1 result at the hands of Wales.
At club level, Martinez has managed Belgian internationals like Marouane Fellaini and Kevin Mirallas.
