West Bromwich Albion are hoping to appoint Tony Pulis as their new head coach by the weekend.
The former Stoke and Crystal Palace mannger will assume total control of transfers, while still working with the Baggies' technical director, Terry Burton, and sporting director, Richard Garlick.
Pulis will succeed Alan Irvine and should be in the stands for his new club's trip to West Ham tomorrow.
