Andre Ayew scored twice as Swansea beat Liverpool 3-1 at the Liberty Stadium.
The result lifts the Swans up to 13th, while Liverpool stay 7th in the Barcalys Premier League table.
Jurgen Klopp named a relatively youthful Reds side, with his team having been in midweek Europa League action in Spain.
Thus goalkeeper Danny Ward (22), Sheyi Ojo (18), Pedro Chirivella (18), Brad Smith (22) and Kevin Stewart (22) all started, with Daniel Sturridge also named up front.
Ayew gave Swansea the lead on 20 minutes with a header, before Jack Cork doubled that advantage 13 minutes later.
Christian Benteke gave Liverpool hope when he headed in with 25 minutes to go.
But Ayew responded with Swansea's third goal two minutes later, before Liverpool's Smith received a second yellow card with a quarter-hour to play.
