The Premier League's bottom side Aston Villa say they will not hold player of the season awards this year.
Their relegation to the Championship has been all but confirmed.
The Birmingham side are 15 points from safety with five games to go and identifying a player who has performed well this season would be a challenge.
"The club will not be holding its annual Player of the Year Awards at the conclusion of this season. In the current circumstances, we are sure our supporters will understand," said the club in a statement.
Villa also announced this week some staff at the club could lose their jobs over the drop down to the second tier.
