Aston Villa have moved to suspend Gabriel Agbonlahor pending an investigation at the club.
The Premier League club, who were officially relegated this past weekend, are investigating him after he was pictured with canisters of legal high nitrous oxide, more commonly known as laughing gas.
The Sun newspaper claims he was partying hours after his side's demotion to the Championship was confirmed on Saturday.
This would be the second time this season that the player has been in trouble at the club, after he was pictured smoking from a shisha-pipe while on holidays during the international break in March.
Agbonlahor was recently ruled out of action to undergo a specialist fitness programme, which drew some attention on social media.

Agbonlahor's team-mate, Joleon Lescott, also came in for criticism this week as both Irish legend Paul McGrath and former footballer Stan Collymore criticised his conduct and comments in the wake of the team's relegation.
Lescott tried to put a positive spin on things, saying now that relegation was "confirmed maybe it's a weight off the shoulders and we can give these fans what they deserve, some performances".
