David Moyes and Nigel Pearson are the top names being linked with the vacant managerial position at Aston Villa.
Remi Garde's departure last night was the latest big change at the Premier League strugglers, as they have also let go of their sporting director and chief executive in recent weeks.
Villa legend Ian Taylor, who was on Off The Ball recently, told Sky Sports News, it's a shake-up that's been needed.
"It's blatantly obvious that things haven't been right from the top downwards and I think the changes have been made to make things better. Right now we need to get a new manager in and it needs to be the right appointment," he said.
Some reports suggest Moyes and ex-Leicester City boss Pearson lead the race for the job, with Sky Sports reporting that ex-FA chief David Bernstein is heading up a three-person committee to identify the next manager.
