Hull City raced into a 2 goal lead within 8 minutes as James Chester and Curtis Davies each scored to leave Arsenal shell shocked.
Arsene Wenger’s side managed to steady themselves and Santi Cazorla began the fight back with an incredible free kick on 17 minutes.
The equaliser came in the 71st minute as Luarnet Koscielney poked home a scrappy goal.
In extra time it was Arsenal who took the initiative and Aaron Ramsey scored the winner on 109 minutes.
