Anthony Foley on Munster's centre options and evolving the tactics

Munster head coach Anthony Foley has revealed that the province are looking to get the right mix at centre.

Speaking to Off The Ball's Cian Murtagh, 'Axel' said: "We're looking to get a ball-player in at 12. Denis Hurley looks comfortable there in pre-season and there's Cian Bohane, Ivan Dineen who are capable of playing at 12. Andrew Smith looks very comfortable at 13, Keith Earls when he was training with us looked very comfortable at 13. I like the idea of playing two 10s and there's plenty of options," said the former forwards coach, who also mused how he could use his many options at 10.

Foley replaced Rob Penney as Munster head coach and he hinted that the gameplan may change this season after previous criticisms of an overly-lateral approach.

"Rob had his way of playing and at times it didn't engage that gain line and at times it became very lateral. Some days that worked, some days it didn't against better teams," said Foley.

You can listen to the interview below along with Leinster's Matt O'Connor.
