It's advantage Atletico Madrid after tonight's Champions League semi-final first leg as they defeated Bayern Munich 1-0 at the Vicente Calderon Stadium.
Saul Niguez scored the only goal of the game - and this week's first leg matches - to give the home side a great chance of making it into the competition's final for the second time in three years.
His goal came in the first quarter hour of the match.
The Spain under-21 international midfielder darted through three Bayern players to break into the box, before scoring with an expert finish into the far corner of Manuel Neuer's net.
Atletico, as often seen in La Liga and Europe this season, proved difficult to break down for Pep Guardiola's side although David Alaba struck the crossbar with a long range effort.
But it was Atletico who hit the woodwork next when Fernando Torres cut inside in the box and beat Neuer with his shot, only to see it strike the post.
